Snow Net

Conductio manufactures snow nets for winter use of ski jumping hills, which are intended to prevent snow masses from sliding downwards. The installation and attachment method of snow nets are always tailored to the requirements of the ski jumping hill. Snow nets are made of 18 mm UV-protected polypropylene rope and the mesh size of the net is 400 x 400 mm.

The nets come in two different sizes, 3.6m x 4.0m and 4.4m x 4.0m. Either black or white polypropylene mass is pressed into the knots of the nets, which indicates which net size is involved. By combining black and white nets, you can always get a net of the right size for every spot on the hill. For example, by combining 3 black 4.4 meter nets and 2 white 3.6 meter nets, the net width will be 20.4 meters. We create a color map of each net row on the hill based on the dimensions of the hill, from which it is easy to check how many black or white nets are needed for each row. Therefore, numbered nets are not needed. Due to their lightness, the nets are easy and quick to install, even with just two installers.
